在開庭前，一輛警車於法院門外企圖撞向記者群，當時記者群正嘗試拍攝囚車內人士面容，一輛警車突然轉向加速並駛向記者群，事件中一名有線電視攝影師受傷。當記者群嘗試與警員理論，然而警員不予理會並直接離去。

This afternoon, a suspect involved in the stabbing of a police officer on 1st July was brought to face trial at the Eastern Magistrates' Court.

Before the hearing, a police van with the suspect on board made a sudden turn and accelerated towards the reporters at the scene. A Cable TV cameraman was injured in the incident. The involved police officers ignored the injured reporter and left after other reporters and members of the public attempted to reason with them.
